A couple more coloring examples:




Some more silhouettes, showing how easy it is to start off generic, but the more absurd your ideas become, the stronger they can be. Also an example for why including interior details from the very start can limit your options during the variations stage. Even something as simple as eye placement can drastically change the nature of a silhouette.

 Hue & Saturation adjustment layers are easily the least efficient way to color a photo, but so be it.

I really wish I had more time to work on these demos, but I spend a lot more time running around helping students with their (more important) projects. Portal and Starcraft inspired blockhead demos ahoy!
